The Investment Management Workshop, directed by Robert Jennings, prepares students for the competitive recruitment process for careers in security research, sales, trading, and private wealth management.
Admitted workshop members will take 2 classes (BUS-F312 and BUS-F412), totaling 3 credit hours. Additional professional development opportunities include an Alumni Superday, weekly alumni speakers, networking trips to New York City and Chicago, specialized instruction with Training the Street, junior and senior mentors, and 22 supplemental leadership team lectures covering a myriad of technical modules. Many successful applicants to the IMW apply for the Knall-Cohen Investment Fund (BUS-F212) in spring of freshman year, as the course teaches students fundamental equity analysis. Qualifying IMW students may also be eligible for the Finkelstein Family Investment Management Workshop Scholarship.
