The Capital Markets and Banking Workshop “CMBW” prepares students for careers in a wide variety of financial services roles, including investment banking, private credit, private equity, debt and equity capital markets, and corporate banking coverage.

While other workshops like the Investment Banking Workshop (“IBW”) limit their focus to those specific functions, the CMBW offers a broader view of the financial services sector and has placed participants in a wide range of roles, including private equity and investment banking. Regardless of banking function and position you pursue; you will be helping align financial capital with clients needs.

To assist in your career pursuits, the CMBW engages with many of the top firms in the industry, including:

  • Goldman Sachs
  • Bank of America Merrill Lynch
  • J.P. Morgan
  • Wells Fargo
  • Lazard
  • Houlihan Lokey
  • Jefferies
  • BMO Capital Markets

If this workshop and a career in Capital Markets & Banking interests you, please email the CMBW Co-Directors – Sridhar Arcot (sarcot@iu.edu) and Mark Wegener (mwegene@iu.edu), or drop a line to the CMBW Leadership Team at cmbw@iu.edu.CMBW Leadership Team at cmbw@iu.edu.
